The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Kwesimintsim constituency, Dr. Prince Hamid Armah has donated to the Muslim community in the Kwesimintsim constituency as his contribution towards their 30-days fasting – the Ramadan.
The MP presented assorted food items made up of bars of sugar, cartons of milk, assorted drinks, and boxes of Lipton tea. He topped it up with an amount of 1000.00. Mr. Jerry Hansen, the First Vice-Chairman of the NPP in Kwesimintsim explained that the gesture is the Legislator’s contribution towards the Ramadan fast in the constituency. “The reason is for the Muslim community to pray for him to keep being able to offer his assistance to the Muslim community every year. He asks for their prayers for him to be able to serve them well as their representative in Parliament,” he stated. The Second Deputy Imam of Kwesimintsim, Abdul Rahman, who received the items on behalf of the Chief Imam, thanked the MP for his kind gesture.
“We thank the MP very well, and as Ramadan is about to start, we see it as a good gesture for the Moslem community, and we thank the MP for whatever he has done. And we will continue to pray for the constituency and Ghana at large,” he said.
